Halle Flygare has hiked the Alexander Mackenzie Heritage Trail (Grease Trail) more than 6 times. He has mapped the trail extensively. In 2022/2023, he and Dr. Harvey Thommasen located the original route through Tweedsmuir Provincial Park from Rainbow Cabin to the Bella Coola River. Backroad Maps has now mapped the 26 kilometres through Tweedsmuir Provincial Park. Halle has a supply of these maps for sale.
